About Me

My name is Abdelrahman Mahir. I'm an Engineering graduate, currently working as a business developer. I am Sudanese, studied in Malaysia and currently in Turkey.

I love reading books and discussing their ideas. This podcast is a way for me to share the love and explore the world.

I hope that it adds value to you!

So, What's it with this podcast?

TLDR, stands for Too Long, Didn't Read. It's a popular acronym that I encountered on Reddit, where someone will write a short summary at the beginning of a post, so you can decide whether to read it or not and get the general idea.

I have always loved the idea of summarizing things, especially in university where  summarizing subjects saved me a ton of time.

When it comes to books, a lot of people make the excuse that they don't have enough time and that books are long and full of repeated ideas or sometimes just pure fillers. I totally agree with you.

However, this podcast is not a book summary or a review per se. The books won't always be covered separately, but rather in a group, since most likely that not, they share similar concepts across all of them.

The episodes are structured in a way that follows my natural way of discussion, so  the chapters won't necessarily  be in sequence. Each episode I'll discuss a book while linking with outside ideas from other books, YouTube videos, blogs, etc. I'll sometimes input my own ideas into it.

The aim is to make you curious about the ideas that we'll discuss, to open your mind to different concepts, and in the process I hope you gain something valuable along the way.

If this sounds good to you, well, enjoy the episodes, feel free to reach out and let me know what do you like.

Welcome along for the Journey!
